The Adelphi Oracle yearbook of 1937 lists several conflicting dates for establishment of various chapters, versus what is published here, placing the early and middle chapter as starting two or three years earlier. These may be accurate, or may be "wishful thinking" on the part of the Oracle writer, innocently intending to claim slightly earlier start dates. For example, that author notes an earlier establishment for the first chapter. We note that specific issue in the body text, with a potential establishment as early as 1917, and as late as 1919. I've sent the reference to the Baird's Archive staff to resolve, and have kept the dates Baird's currently has here on the table of chapters. Other yearbook records may provide further proof, one way or another. Should the Archive change, this page should be updated. Jax MN (talk) 17:18, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
An earlier version of this page mentioned that Pi Alpha Tau was international, mistakenly assuming the St. Lawrence chapter was in Canada. This is not true. The St. Lawrence chapter was actually at the Brooklyn Law School, which until 1943 was a subsidiary of St. Lawrence, a school whose main campus is in Canton, NY. This is why it is cited in the 1929Oracle as being attached to St. Lawrence. All other chapters were also in the US.Jax MN (talk) 21:53, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
