Deletion

[edit]

Please dont delete this page. Phun is very notable, and has been installed on over 2 million school computers. It also has a very large userbase, and is owned by Algoryx. I know phun.com and phun.org are Pr0n sites, but phun is completely legit. if you dont believe me, go to http://www.phunland.com/ Lollerskates4EVAR (talk) 18:21, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notability in question

[edit]

I have noticed a banner questioning Phun's notability. If phun is not notable, neither is Gmod, Crayon Physics, Etc. Either Phun is recognized as notable, or the other articles are deleted as well.Lollerskates4EVAR (talk) 18:44, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I placed that there. This article needs to
  1. state that Phun is notable, and
  2. show that Phun is notable by providing references to independent reliable sources that state that Phun is notable.
The same standard applies to other articles, including ones on Gmod, Crayon Physics, and Etc. If you want to discuss those articles, the proper place would be their respective talk pages - this is the talk page for Phun - and nothing else. pablohablo. 18:58, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. Thank you... I will do that in a little while... >24 hrs... i got stuff to do now.Lollerskates4EVAR (talk) 19:12, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well I wouldn't want to impinge upon your no doubt valuable time. But looking at Gmod and Crayon Physics they certainly seem to be quite substantial articles. pablohablo. 19:47, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It seems someone has added the notability part... can i delete the banner? Lollerskates4EVAR (talk) 19:12, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

refimprove

[edit]

I have added the 'refimprove' banner. I am concerned that the BBC article cited does not mention the subject of the article, and I still do not see reliable secondary sources.  Chzz  ►  08:30, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry if I make a mistake here, I'm not very good with wikipedia, this article was being written while closed beta testing was taking place of the new version of Phun, Algodoo Phun Edition beta 5, Algodoo runs on the Phun engine, and Phun as its old uses were known, is now Algodoo Phun Edition (free for non commercial use), Algodoo is the Educational version of the program, Algodoo is the name that is on the software in the article, and that is why you were unable to find the program in the article. What would you like secondary sources for (I'm not very good with Wikipedia, so, I'm not entirely sure about what you want them for specifically)Gradyfitz (talk) 06:42, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

There are alot of games like this like incredibots and crayonphysics yet for some reason this seems to draw more attention —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.136.72.16 (talk) 04:49, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

[edit]

Phun (2D Physics Sandbox)Phun — There is nothing currently at Phun, so the disambiguated name is unnecessary. (There have previously been pages at Phun. One was about a neologism, another was for phun.org, another was apparently a bio of someone, and others were of unclear subject. The page has been created so often that it has been salted.) --Zundark (talk) 08:50, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
