I have added several WikiProject banners that may be interested in this article, beyond WikiProject New Zealand and Wikipedia:WikiProject Crime. Although the reasons for including this article might seem tenuous or borderline in-scope for some of them, so I thought I had better explain myself.
WikiProject Law - I believe this article involves aspects of New Zealand family law, making it in-scope for that WikiProject.
WikiProject Parenting - This article involves parenting behaviour, which make it in-scope for that WikiProject.
Reading the above, one might also conclude I hold the opinion that this article is about a single event. While I see this as an ongoing pattern of behaviour by a parent, there are two disappearances and so it is not a single event. Nevertheless, it makes sense to have a single article because that ongoing pattern of behaviour closely links the two events together and stops this article simply becoming a news story. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 21:31, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
