Hi. To be perfectly honest, this article is in rather a mess. I am hoping to find a little time to devote to Peter Walton (referee) soon. It may result in some of the more opinion-based parts giving way, unless contributors can fill in the citations which have been asked for since February 2007. Thanks. Hi. As promised, I have given the article a makeover, and any further relevant content with sources would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Refsworldlee(chew-fat)(eds) 22:42, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MotD: Paul Walton?

[edit]

Hi. If anyone can find a citation for the Trivial Fact added today (no, not an April Fool's joke - check it out yourselves on next week's edition), please supply it in the article. Otherwise, I can categorically state that the chap has made a monumental booboo, as seen for many weeks with my own eyes. Cheers. Refsworldlee(chew-fat)(eds) 00:16, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have found a match report on the BBC sport website which compounds the error, by referring to Peter as 'Paul' also. I have inserted this as an example of his misnaming by the Corporation. Refsworldlee(chew-fat)(eds) 19:41, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
