The addition of a "Works" section

I'm surprised to find this article lacking a Works section listing Ruckman's books. Is there a particular reason why it's missing? I learned about Ruckman after having stumbled upon one of his books at a used bookstore. Now I know he published a huge number of books. On a side note: I'm curious to know if all his books are written in the style of the one I found, that is to say, every page is chock full of ALL CAPS words and sentences. This guy really had a chip on his shoulder! Anyways, I wanted to add the book I have to this article in a "Works" section, but thought I'd ask about it here first.

My guess is that no Wikipedian was interested in creating a list of Ruckman's self-published books. I don't know why that couldn't be done so long as the list is representative and not simply a random selection based on what might be found in a used bookstore. (And, yes, all his books are written the same way, with—as the article says—a "constant stream of invective that is to be found on nearly every page.") @Cpetty-wiki and John Foxe: I suppose that many are called but few are chosen.[1] In all seriousness, I did my best with this; I have unfortunate experience with Ruckmanites and Ruckmanism, so I just from memory created this based on the works they seem to find most important. I also felt it important to highlight the Korean edition of the RRB, because Ruckmanism is very popular in Korea…perhaps it ha more adherents there than in America, actually. "Controversial"

I dislike the use of the word "controversial." It tells us nothing to say that "X is controversial even among Y" because you can use your own name for X and make Y any group with which you are associated. John Foxe (talk) 12:23, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Everyone and everything is controversial. Pick any topic. I can legitimately describe you as controversial, and you can legitimately describe me as controversial, and nothing is communicated. Racism as prima facie

I altered the text on Ruckman being "an avowed racist" as it needs better sourcing. I get the "prima facie" argument, but that's essentially WP:SYNTH. And the secondary source used is not an acceptable source as it's a self-published blog (WP:SELFPUB. I'm sure White is correct, but isn't there something he legitimately published that says the same thing, something that isn't his personal blog? And then, it needs to be attributed. I agree. Maybe I can find something more reliable. Years ago Ruckman's son (who later killed himself) tried to get the whole article taken down, and it was a pain to come up with sources that Wikipedians thought were ball-park reliable. If you're a fringe person with fringe ideas, you're most likely going to be discussed in fringe sources. John Foxe (talk) 23:32, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Son's date of death

Not worth worrying about, but the coroner eventually decided that Ruckman Jr. likely killed himself on February 28. March is fine; that's when the bodies were discovered.John Foxe (talk) 00:34, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
