Birth date

The Guardian obituary gives his DOB as 6 November 1939 and his Independent obit says he was born 11 June 1939. I checked the birth index and no Peter J. Reynolds were registerd in the last quarter of 1939 or early 1940, but there was a Peter J. Reynolds registered in the July-September quarter in the Wenlock borough of Shropshire, which at the time was the same district as PR's birth place of Shifnal. This would indicate the Independent date is correct. Crisso (talk) 13:16, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I came to the talk page to leave a note about the birthdate, as Reynolds was a family friend whose birthday was close my to great-grandmother's, but I see @Crisso has done the research to demonstrate the inaccuracy. Lajmmoore (talk) 18:59, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
