Notability
[edit]PUCL seems to have a very wide coverage in numerous secondary sources that are independent and reliable. A simple search through Google Books can show the importance of its work and how often it's reports are cited internationally. Its notability is very well established, by these criterion of wikipedia
"Evidence of attention by international or national, or at least regional, media is a strong indication of notability." "if it has been the subject of significant coverage in secondary sources."
For eg, the organization itself has been discussed in these books.
- The Rights Revolution: Lawyers, Activists, and Supreme Courts in Comparative Perspective - Charles R. Epp, University of Chicago Press
- Human Rights, Gender and the Environment - Priyam Manisha,Pearson Education India
Its PIL litigations have played an influential role in the lives of the citizens of India, and its reports have been used in studies by researchers from even the Ivy League Universities apart from the hundreds of other studies and books.NMKuttiady (talk) 06:58, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
- Unless there is support for the notability tag, I expect to remove it very soon.- Sinneed 03:41, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
Pronouns and antecedents
[edit]The problem I was tagging was the use of "his", "he", "her", "hers", these would be more ideally names, or made very carefully clear with wording. The content is cumbersome, at the moment.- Sinneed 03:40, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
