@Livelikemusic I apologise if I've been seen as argumentative or anything as I'm not like that. I'm just confused as soap character articles are made very often and I've never seen anything like this. For example, Teddy and Nicola Mitchell both say 2024-present rather than since 2024 and I'm really confused because every time I try and do as told and follow rules I've been told, I'm told completely differently. As explained in edit summaries, 2024 is present tense, as well as – present/to present are foreseen as potentially outdated terminology. As exampled at MOS:DATETOPRES, it states: An alternative form is Since 1982., which would mean since 2024 is appropriate. One could also argue, in the case of both Nicola and Teddy Mitchell (both of which have been changed to accommodate the MOS), as well as characters at list of EastEnders characters introduced in 2024, it is redundant to mention 2024 in years until we reach 2025, as exampled of characters who both entered and exited within the 2024 year. livelikemusic (TALK!) 23:50, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I get it. Thanks for explaining. Can I come back to you if I ever need anymore assistance? EEfamilytrees (talk) 23:53, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Of course. livelikemusic (TALK!) 23:59, 25 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Would this also be the case for Ruby Allen's page? I presume so. EEfamilytrees (talk) 00:05, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it would. livelikemusic (TALK!) 01:13, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
