i agree. both pages are covering identical content.
They shouldn't. This page should cover the historical situation until 1922, and direct those interested in the current parliament to the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Queensland has a unique system, it should be displayed proudly. Alex Law 01:32, 12 November 2005 (UTC)
Reorganising Australian parliaments category
[edit]I propose to tidy up Category:Australian Parliaments a little by creating a new sub category within it called - Category:Parliaments of the Australian States and Territories . This category would contain articles on the Parliaments but not lists of previous parliaments. The category would then be listed at Category:Legislatures of subnational entities in place of Category:Australian Parliaments. This would mean that this article will be listed under the new Category:Parliaments of the Australian States and Territories instead of the current Category:Australian Parliaments. If you would like to comment please go to Category talk:Australian parliaments Adz 07:51, 2 November 2005 (UTC)

ALP 47 (+1 pending)?
[edit]Latest 2 edits changed Australian Labor Party from 47 to 48 seats, and changed Liberal National Party from 37 to 38 seats. Checked Parliament website for list of current members ( https://www.parliament.qld.gov.au/members/current/list ), but that website list only has 47 "ALP" members and 37 "LNP" members, with 2 seats "Awaiting confirmation of by-election result" ("Member for Bundamba" and "Member for Currumbin").
- Change ALP to "47(+1pending)"? (Bundamba's "Official First Preference Count" is at "66.21% counted".)
- Change LNP to "37(+1pending)"? (Currumbin's "Official First Preference Count" is at "71.09% counted".) --EarthFurst (talk) 20:07, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
