Thus the Chinese wives were sometimes forced to commit suicide after their husbands' death before long. (unsubstantiated) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Duckeggsoup (talkcontribs) 04:36, 10 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Added image, but credible?

[edit]

Hello, I added a picture (originally at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ornamental_Gateway_(Pailou)_from_Han_Dynasty_(202_BCE_%E2%80%93_220_CE)_across_a_Street_Lined_with_Small_Shops._Hanzhong,_Shaanxi_Province,_China,_1875_WDL2092.png) that has the label "Ornamental Gateway (Pailou) from Han Dynasty (202 BCE – 220 CE)". However, I am not sure if this description is credible or not; though I am no expert, it seems to me that this gate is from a much later time than what it is marked as being from. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.166.90.105 (talk) 18:30, 27 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
