No relation

[edit]

This article is in no way related to the above mentioned project (Method enfinering), I am not sure how such a connection can made. (User:Nicolay Worren 19:41, 23 February 2007 (UTC))[reply]

I agree. The Organisation is not related to Organisation Architecture. Organisation Architecture is more realted to Organisation Structures.

Why are my edits being deleted?

[edit]

I have edited the article a couple of time and they are immediately deleted by the administrator. Today I did a couple of changes: I included links to other similar subjects (organization structure and organizational architecture) and added my recent textbook as one of the further readings. The latter is characterized as self promotion, but if so, please take a look at the text and compare to the original I wrote in 2006 (available in History). From a relatively neutral standpoint, it has become a rather subjective essay about one particular way to view the field.

By the way, my book is a textbook published by a major publisher, and was recently published (2012). The other references listed here are old and not very representative any longer of the field. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicolay Worren (talkcontribs) 20:26, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Stop deleting the further reading section

[edit]

Quit deleting the further reading section. A couple of people did it several times without explanation. Stop it.

It is unhelpful to collaboration (also very rude) Janosabel (talk) 11:39, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If anything, it needs to be added to with more readings available fully online, for example http://splibrary.mvschools.org/library204/simon.pdf 66.41.68.239 (talk) 15:58, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal to merge Organizational architecture here

[edit]

Most of the Organizational architecture article seems to be about Organization design, and it seems more logical to me to merge that text here. -- Marcel Douwe Dekker (talk) 19:47, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I would suggest merging Organization Design and Organizational Architecture, as well as Organizational Structure. At the very least there should be links between these three strongly related subjects. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicolay Worren (talkcontribs) 20:27, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. Organizational design is process centric, while organizational architecture is descriptive of structure and function. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.214.48.10 (talk) 22:52, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Support. According to this article, organization design is about structure and function as well as process. Organization design disambiguates the structure/process/function sense of organizational architecture from its organizational space sense. --Pnm (talk) 17:28, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
