We need the article updated. :)
In Bruce's interview (that there is already a link to here), it says that he started OD in Oct 1997, not 1998 as written here. Can anyone confirm? 59.167.214.144 16:10, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
The oldest, consistently updated, diary at the Open Diary belongs to the author known as Jeanne. The diary author number at the original site was 0005. At the addition of Open Diary Plus, the diary was migrated to the premium site, and the beginning of the original diary is noted as October 22, 1998.
Is it really relevant that the site was featured in a book of interviews? That line reads like an ad for the book more than as useful information about the site or project...80.203.59.175
October, 1998 is the correct date - the date cited in the interview is incorrect or a misprint. As stated above, the longest surviving diary on the site was started on October 22, 1998 - and that diary entry was posted within the first 24 hours of OD being available to the public. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bableson (talk • contribs) 22:16, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Quick change
[edit]I just updated the "number of diarists" as it was well out of date. That is all.
