Origin of the term oligogene
[edit]I'm struggling to verify the claim: "The term oligogene was introduced by Keneth Mather (1941)."[1] I have read the paper and didn't spot a mention of the term oligogene - the paper talks explicitly about polygenic traits and is mostly referenced in this context. The only support for this being the origin of the work oligogene was a dictionary website with no reference to any particular paper. If I can't find it on another pass, I will remove this statement, unless anyone else can clear this up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maonao (talk • contribs) 21:22, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
