Remove California from Title

[edit]

There's no need to specify "Northbrae, Berkeley, California" as the title of the wiki since there are no other Northbrae, Californias in the world. The City of Berkeley is sufficient location. Conducting a move. Sfbayareahistorian (talk) 22:54, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This article misses the point

[edit]

Hi, I am a long time Berkeley/Kensington resident, and a Northbrae business owner(full disclosure). When I read this article, I felt the author missed the point of what made the area so special. Yes, the architecture and curving streets, and exuberant gardens make it a popular place to live, but it's the business district and the amazing shops that are unique to Berkeley and have had influence far and wide on the food culture of America. How can you mention Northbrae without mentioning Monterey Market, Moneterey Fish, and Magnani Poultry? It's an anti-super market model that brings thousands of people from all over the bay every week to buy sustainable and fresh fish, the most amazing array of fruits and vegetables, fresh cheeses, wines, and flowers. Then there's Berkeley Horticultural Nursery which is like visiting a botanical gardens. It's all close to BART, and my business, Marvin Gardens Real Estate offers free parking to shoppers. No chain stores, no fast food unless you count Goias pizza, some of the best in the Bay.Marion of Kensington (talk) 21:32, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
