When Noggin First Came On
[edit]When did Noggin first appear on TV? I know that it debuted in 1999, but when was the date (month, date, 1999)?--Mikejacoby13 20:37, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
Ma'am, it's Day, Month, Year, not Month-Date. Date means the whole format, day, month, and year. It first debuted on 2 February 1999 and will end tomorrow because of vandalism of preschoolers.--Luke Elms 02:40, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
I never saw Shining Time on Noggin!
[edit]I don't seem to recall Shining Time Station on Noggin. If it is false, please take it off now! --Mikejacoby13 15:16, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- WTFrench toast is Shining Time Station? ~~MattBoo, only in the Mushroom Kingdom and in Wikipedia~~ 27 October 2011 (UTC)
Template
[edit]The template in the top right-hand side corner is slightly confusing - it makes the US and the UK channel look like the same one! Perhaps it can be replaced with 2 separate ones (one for the UK, and another for the US)
Critisim?
[edit]This is one of the many things Nickelodeon has been criticized for, or at least by me. I'm almost sure alot of kids and adults alike have criticized the conversion from preteens to toddlers. (Mostly because there is already Nick Jr.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.130.71.113 (talk) 14:57, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Dish Network
[edit]They will air Noggin and The N beginning 12-31-07, STOP DELETING IT! GD1223 14:37, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
Alright, toady (2/1/08) SOMEONE on The Nick GAS page said the switch was supposed to happen yesterday, but, of course, its still on can anybody find the day? GD1223 (talk) 21:32, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Dish is not going to take GAS off the air it looks like. ShadowWriter (talk) 18:23, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
A reference for "facts" alleged on Wikipedia is always helpful. Specifically, the claim that GAS will end on December 31st which not only is unsourced but could be considered off topic for a page on Noggin. 71.115.88.109 (talk) 06:48, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
Gullah Gullah Island and Yo Gabba Gabba On Noggin
[edit]Gullah Gullah Island and Yo Gabba Gabba will be on Noggin starting on 12-31-07.
- Show me proof. Otherwise, don;t try to add it to the article. We have too many people giving "ideas" on "new shows" that will appear on Noggin. -- azumanga (talk) 19:46, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
Find the schedule on their website it will say that these shows and others are back on Noggin.
By the way Yo Gabba Gabba was on Noggin before. GD1223 (talk) 15:32, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Parody ads
[edit]Mhking: A parody ad is defined as an ad for a product that does not exist. As the ads shown on noggin were for actual products, they weren't "parody ads". Please stop changing my edit. I have changed my entry back and brought up the topic on the discussion page, but recieved no feedback on the discussion page. If Noggin shows a product on TV, how is that not an ad? If its a "pardoy ad", why is it using actual products that I can buy at the supermarket? And finally, why, and how, am I vandalizing Wikipedia for changing your edit of "Parody ads"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.34.153.111 (talk) 08:18, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- Show me where you can buy Connie the Cow's Milk Break, and I'll relent. Otherwise, I have to consider them "parody ads". --Mhking (talk) 15:48, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Connie The Cows Milk Break was the name given to the two episodes of Connie The Cow that had the Killogs ads between them... and at that time, you could buy their Mud N Bugs cereal almost anywhere. http://www.allbusiness.com/services/business-services-miscellaneous-business/4832662-1.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by CSky7 (talk • contribs) 23:13, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- You were right all along -- if you would've given the source in the first place (assuming you were 74.34.153.111), all this grief wouln't have happened. Our apologies, though next time, say where you got the info from. -- azumanga (talk) 13:19, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Fox Noggin ?
[edit]Since when did Fox and Nickelodeon team up to create this channel it was made by CTW and Viacom not News Corporation Matthew Cantrell (talk) 01:16, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
How Noggin Deleted Doug
[edit]I love Nickelodeon's Doug, let me tell you something, DISNEY'S DOUG SUCKED!!! >:( It is luckily reruning in Nicktoons Network WAY in the future. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.234.180.9 (talk) 21:02, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Not to be off, man, but Doug is technically not returning to NickToons. The reason why NOGGIN stopped airing Doug is this: Imediently after CTW and Nick lost interest to each other, NOGGIN became a pre-schooler channel, thus removing ALL pre-teen shows, including Doug. That's why, man.
AND DON'T EXPECT DOUG ON NICKTOONS ANY TIME SOON, YOU BUTT-NUGGET!!!!!!!!
Lol, I said "butt-nugget"...
But seriously, dude, time changes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.243.23.219 (talk) 00:53, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Anyways, the show returned as part of TeenNick's The 90s' Are All That block. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.243.23.219 (talk) 21:01, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
Nick Jr.
[edit]Noggin will become Nick Jr in September. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.243.17.185 (talk) 21:15, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Soon to be defunct?
[edit]When will the channel be off the air? What's the source? --Xiaou (talk) 17:23, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
oswald
[edit]The Noggin channel is inundating our children with DORA, DIEGO, Ni-ho Kailan, Pinky Dinky, and more Dora and Diego! ENOUGH ALREADY !!!!!!! Your programing use to be more diverse. Taking off Oswald during the week to replace it with multiple shows of ALL the above mentioned ethnic shows is ok to a point, but to have all of this and eliminating diversity is propaganda at the begining for children being forced to watch what the producers want everyone who tunes in to be subjected to . Yes I can change the channel, which I do more often than before. Unfortunately though there are no pre-school programing worth the learning anymore. Sesame Street has gotten so like your programing that Elmo seems to be the only critter to be over exposed to as well. I protested when the cable station was prepared to eliminate the Noggin channel, now I see why. Noggin's slogan is for preschool on TV, however, it is ever changing in the wrong direction . Even the musical clips are going "High School Musical" in genre- these are PRE_SCHOOLERS!!!! It use to be refreshing to have my child be rewarded to watch a fun show aimed at teaching something. What's next? "Real World Noggin"/ Well "REAL" people do not all like to watch garbage or we would tune in Jon and Kate . Have a genesis with your programing already, or the next time the station wants to pull the plug- so be it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.121.124.165 (talk) 13:54, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
MTV Networks, PBS Kids Sprout, and Noggin
[edit]"For much of its existence, Noggin did not compete with any other network. When MTV Networks sold its share of PBS Kids Sprout, it became Noggin's official rival network." Since when did PBS Kids Sprout ever be owned by MTV/Viacom? I know that in the past, Sprout's article was vandalized many times, and at one point, it mentioned Sprout was co-owned with Nicktoons Network, but it was not (and most likely will never be listed) here: http://www.sproutonline.com/sprout/info/about.aspx
I say that this line should be removed. Wizoomer95 (talk) 22:17, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
