Nicole (German singer) → Nicole Hohloch — 1) see discussion at Lena Meyer-Landrut reason 2) a title without brackets is always better to search than a title with brackets. --Melly42 (talk) 10:08, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- Support move Even Beyoncé Knowles wasn't able to be moved to Beyoncé. If her first name is not such a worldwide household name that it needs a descriptor anyway, then we should have her surname. StAnselm (talk) 08:43, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
- But Cher is under Cher; it is a question of what she is overwhelmingly called by those who know who she is. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 00:47, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
- Not just that, of course - there is no other notable person known as Cher, but lots of people are called Nicole, including a number of singers (such as Nicole Wray) known simply by that name. Once the "What are they known by most often?" question has been answered, we still have to ask, "Is there anybody else known by that name?" That's not the case with Cher, but it is the case with "Nicole". StAnselm (talk) 01:16, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

- When moving, than to her current name Nicole Seibert, because she was never known in the media under her birth name. --Melly42 (talk) 07:33, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Melly42: I'm not sure it's accurate to say she was never known in the media under her birth name. She won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1982, 2 years before she got married and changed her name. Or did I misintrepret your statement? -- GravityIsForSuckers (talk) 16:29, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- She won the ESC under her stage name Nicole and not as Nicole Hohloch. I think it might be best to stay with Nicole (German singer). There is only one German singer called Nicole so there will be no likelihood of confusion --Melly42 (talk) 16:49, 31 December 2020 (UTC)

Nicole (German singer) → Nicole Seibert – This person changed their name in 1984 when she got married and has gone by that name ever since. Though her professional name is 'Nicole', on song credits and when mentioned in the media, 'Seibert' is used. -- GravityIsForSuckers (talk) 16:26, 31 December 2020 (UTC) —Relisting. —Nnadigoodluck███ 18:17, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

Concert Tour Locations
[edit]I think adding mentioning some of the territories/regions/countries where she's performed concert tours would be a good addition to this article. I've had trouble locating that info and I suspect it might be easier for a native German speaker to find articles about that. -- GravityIsForSuckers (talk) 17:54, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
Translation with Info about humanitarian causes
[edit]I added this and did my best to translate from a German news article (with the help of Google Translate). Can anyone review the content I added?
