Conflict of Interest
[edit]I saw the edit warring going on about the WP:COI tag. As an outsider to this article, I just wanted to make a few comments.
First, someone who has a COI probably shouldn't be removing a COI tag, regardless of if they declared their COI. That, to me, seems like an obvious conflict of interest edit.
And it seems that this COI editing has been going on since the creation of this article, so all of the article's sources and tone likely need to be checked over for verification and neutrality.
FMSky, I see you added the tag. Do you have any suggestions for the page, or any problem areas you think need to be improved? I'll also ping L.Halifax001, since they seem to be the other editor involved. - Whisperjanes (talk) 00:33, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for weighing in. I was unaware but now understand that the (COI) should not be removed by the user in question. Once I amended some things and fixed sources, I requested the original user remove the tag, and any other contributors to weigh in. Not sure what else to do to protect the integrity of the account, other than identifying myself as a COI, updating and amending all of the sources, and requesting future edits be made by others. Please advise, and can you also remove the COI tag? (as I have already identified myself on the talk page.) Thanks again! L.Halifax001 (talk) 02:38, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
