COI and other problems

[edit]

A well-meaning intern from the Society's marketing department has been editing the article. User:Marketingnes has been blocked as a username violation, and her edits reverted; but the article does obviously need a lot of work. NPOV and sourcing are clearly problems here. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:57, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Would it be possible to change the article title to New England Society in the City of New York? This has been the organization's name since it was founded. The name "New England Society of New York" is incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.224.42.110 (talk) 18:45, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Changing the article title to New England Society would work as well. New England Society is the abbreviation most commonly used by the organization, with the full correct name being New England Society in the City of New York. The current title has never been used by the organization as an official name or an abbreviation. 96.224.42.110 (talk) 18:39, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
