This article is written in American English with IUPAC spelling (color, defense, traveled; aluminium, sulfur and caesium) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide and chemistry naming conventions, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

Neon was one of the Natural sciences good articles, but it has been removed from the list. There are suggestions below for improving the article to meet the good article criteria. Once these issues have been addressed, the article can be renominated. Editors may also seek a reassessment of the decision if they believe there was a mistake.

Cr(CO)5Ne

Cr(CO)₅Ne is not counted as a true neon compound here, but the related W(CO)₅Ar is counted as a true compound at the article argon. They must be both counted, or both not counted, but I'm not sure which is the right way. Nucleus hydro elemon (talk) 08:23, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
