Issue with sources fixed and response to the authorship question provided

[edit]

1. 8 secondary sources/references have been added. 4 primary sources/references have been removed.

2. It is worth clarifying that the person who created this problem in the first place called “Boushaki” has nothing to do with the subject except that they have the same part of the last name of subject. The text of this article has been cleaned by several authors and none of the current text in the article is from “Boushaki” writer who took the liberty to edit many pages besides that of the subject.

We feel this addresses the two concerns of the template and would like to ask for it to be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anish.universe (talkcontribs) 18:14, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Education and academic background

[edit]

This part might need some editing to just clean it up. Mkomboti (talk) 01:16, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

[edit]

Doesn't seem very problematic, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mustapha Ishak-Boushaki was mainly due to notability but now Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science might satisfy WP:PROF? –HTinC23 (talk) 19:20, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@HTinC23: You will decide, but after clicking in all references, I haven't found significant coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject. There are his articles and news articles or prizes from his own university. Also, being the most successful cross-wiki spam campaign ever (peaked at more than 110 sites) seems to me a little bit problematic. Thanks anyway. Paucabot (talk) 15:41, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Some of the major contributors to this article, and to the Boushaki complex of articles seem to be WP:SPA, like Authentise (talk · contribs) and Anish.universe (talk · contribs). Please note that the Boushaki agents create and use several users accounts per day, as shown in the WD discussion. Bw Orland (talk) 15:15, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not a conflict of interest per se

[edit]

Have a care with assigning the major conflict of interest to the article subject, who appears to be distinct from, and opposing, this article's major contributor (singular). The article subject's identifiable edits here are almost wholly taking stuff out that the major contributor put in.

This article is the product of a prolific cross-wiki sock-puppeteer who abuses multiple accounts across many projects and has made some of them suffer bad machine translations, and is highly problematic in that regard; but the connection here appears simply to be that the article subject unfortunately has "Boushaki" in xyr name.
