Bridal Trail lengths
[edit]There has been some back and forth editing on this subject. The park brochure gives some figures.
The entire Bridal Trail system is listed as 16 miles while the section called Long Loop is listed as 9 miles. It appears that the Long Loop is only a part of the whole.
I hope this helps.

Is Morrow Mountain considered a monadnock ?
[edit]Tom Hargrove of Archaeological Research Consultants refers to Morrow Mountain as a monadnock in this article. http://www.arch.dcr.state.nc.us/uwharrie/hargrove26am.html
The first reference is in the fifth paragraph.
"When Stanley South recorded the site, ST18, formally recorded it in 1958, I believe, he recorded this area. This is the Morrow Mountain peak itself, the monadnock. This is the road we came up on and this is the area proposed for road widening. These numbers here represent the shovel tests and the surface collections that we made on either side of the road. Let's see…if we could get the next one, please." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Boseidon (talk • contribs) 15:59, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

Wind damage
[edit]I need to find out when, but I remember several serious weather events that required a lot of cleanup, not just the one in 2013.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 17:13, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
