Incorrect info in bio of Morgan Wooten

[edit]

In paragraph 6 the following quotation appears: "In 46 seasons as the head coach of DeMatha basketball, he won five high school national championships"

This quotation is incorrect. I was active in Washington DC are high school basketball during the period when Mr. Wooten was coaching.

There was no National Championship playoff series for high schools at that time.

Several different newspapers attempted to provide national rankings for high school teams, and Dematha was sometimes chosen by them as the no. 1 team in the country.

But that in nothing remotely similar to the NCAAB Championship series. 2601:152:5080:7B0:8863:4E9D:5BAB:E47D (talk) 19:47, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
