[edit]My personal recollection is that "mix-in" was Steve's original name for the concept, and he coined "smoosh-in" after he sold the original Steve's and started Herrell's. But I cannot find a definitive statement of that on the web (yet). The Steve's Ice Cream wikipedia page hints mix-in came first by mentioning it first and later speaking of smoosh-ins, but this is not definitive in my view. So, I changed the wording to something uncontroversial "another term ...." Rpgpoet (talk) 17:43, 6 October 2012 (UTC)
