Million in German

[edit]

The explanation of the abbreviation 'Mio.' has been removed by User:Pol098 in http://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Mio&diff=prev&oldid=940428111 stating WP:DABABBREV as rationale. Said rule states that the abbreviation should be considered to be added to the linked article (instead of removing the link and explanation). Since the abbreviation is very widely used (in German) and really self-explanatory I don't think the linked article necessarily has to contain it in this case. I think the removal was rather ill-fated and I will add an improved explanation back. If you think the rule is not up to debate please add an explanation of Mio. to the linked article instead of removing the reference, thanks. AmenophisIII (talk) 12:13, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
