Phrase

This phrase needs an edit. I can't figure out what it's supposed to mean:

Though the temperature varies less at any one height than the epipelagic

Does it mean that the temperature is more uniform as you move laterally than in the epipelagic, that is, that the temperature correlates more strongly with depth than it does in the epipelagic?

MesopelagicMesopelagic zone

I propose that we move Mesopelagic to Mesopelagic zone. This will result in achieving a consistency of terminology with other articles about the other major oceanic zones:
