Importance

[edit]

Maurice O'Connell was one of four sons of Daniel O'Connell, an important figure in modern Irish history. Per the 1911 Encyclopedia cited as a reference for the Wikipedia article on the latter, he and his 3 brothers all sat in Parliament. Maurice is apparently referenced in a list on another page (see http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User:Mackensen/MPs_elected_in_the_UK_general_election%2C_1852 ). I'll add a link on Daniel O'Connell's page.

Need for disambiguation page?

[edit]

There are some other people with the same name in Wikipedia now and probebly a need for a disambiguation page.--A12n 19:15, 10 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
