The paragraph that quotes Kadji Amin seems to imply that someone who hasn't undergone surgery cannot be considered transsexual. But lots of trans people don't have surgery. I can't tell from that paragraph whether the mistake is Amin's or that of the Wikipedia editor who included that paragraph; I would change the paragraph, but without access to the source I'm not sure quite what to say. But it's pretty unfortunate as it stands. --Elysdir (talk) 04:14, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Does this explain the odd statement: Though love between those perceived as women was then fashionable, Morny was attacked for this...? Valetude (talk) 23:02, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The text here "Morny dressed and lived as a man, and used the name Max." seems to imply Morny was a trans man, not a lesbian. However, this page lists Morny as the latter. At the very least, it seems questionable. I don't know more about Morny-it seems however this may be a misidentification. Do we have sources to indicate what is the case, so far as the evidence shows? Mcc1789 (talk) 23:33, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
