CDP is wrong

[edit]

Contrary to what the CDP says, the area is not "all land".

Marlton has several ponds and lakes as well as a number of year-round creeks that feed into the Charles Branch. They never dry up, even in the hottest weather or the driest year. The area also has a number of freshwater wetlands in low spots. Certain low-lying parts of Marlton are also flood-prone, due to all the water that moves through the area.

Although the street map shows 4 ponds or lakes, a quick look at the satellite map will show more.
Keep in mind that Maryland freshwater ponds and lakes have a lot of algae and duckweed in warm weather, especially as the summer goes along.
At first these areas will look green in the satellite image, but they are actually water, not land.
