[edit]Neutral Point of View
[edit]The following remark is not really relevant or necessary, and doesn't seem to clarify much:
- The buddha's teaching has always been against the stream
And all of this bellow is something you would normally expect to find as a sales pitch in the back cover of a book, quotation of endorsement included. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, and this is Not very encyclopaedic at all!:
- Mark Epstein clears up the confusion [...] by teaching [...].
- "Going to Pieces Without Falling Apart is a daring and profound synthesis of intelligence about emotions East and West. The provocative blend establishes Mark Epstein as one of psychology's most dazzling thinkers."
--Daniel Goleman, author of Emotional Intelligence
Please,if you know more about Mark Epstein than I do, improve the writing style and presence of irrelevancies in this article.
- I have removed the offending sentence. Good looking out. - Nat Krause(Talk!) 17:25, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Confusing sentence at Personal Life section.
[edit]The second sentence is very confusing, it makes me think that by the time he started to improve, his mother was 6 or 7 years old, is this simply a spelling mistake? Is it supposed to be a he instead of she? The text also mentions that this took place a decade after "his" death, who does it mean? His mother's husband? I think the text should be more clear, but I'm not sure if I am interpreting it correctly. Positron832 (talk) 21:01, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
