Notability

[edit]

There are articles in 5 other languages on him, he is quite famous in Germany for his forensic TV show and for positive identification of Hitler's teeth. I'm removing the Notability tag, but leaving the third-party one, other sources might be better. --WiseWoman (talk) 19:50, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest

[edit]

User:Markbenecke is the article's subject. He wrote at least 38% of his own article. See: Here and here and also here. Page also reads a tad like self-promoting. What can be done to improve this page and make it more encyclopaedic? Also wrote parts of his German page (see: History). -- Lluvia-aweiku (talk), 18:49, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The article appears in 5 languages besides English. I for one want to know if any Wikipedia sanctions can and will be imposed if this is investigated and proved to be a case of self-promotion by the subject? BTW, See "Misc" section below. This issue is 12 years old! RobP (talk) 19:01, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Lluvia-aweiku and @Rp2006: I've added {{Connected contributor}} above. Hopefully Benecke either communicates directly here, or at least no longer edits/stops editing this article. I dream of horses (Contribs) (Talk) 02:44, 1 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
