"tallest building in the British Empire"?

Was it ever actually the tallest? I have heard this said before (and "Pokemon Go" even features it as such -- maybe because Wikipedia says so!) but the list of tallest buildings in the British Empire and the British Commonwealth would indicate otherwise... Does anyone agree this should get a "cite" tag or am I just really confused? -- abfackeln (talk) 01:04, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
