Her son
[edit]I haven t been able to find any proof that Marie bore a son in c.1888. She was married twice and possibly adopted. But I don't find any evidence of a biological child. There should be more than one source that substantiates something like kin. Koplimek (talk) 17:21, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Jubilee performance
[edit]Per the new contributor, I re-arranged the end to give the jubilee more prominence. -- Ssilvers 19:01, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Blocked links
[edit]Wikipedia's spam filter blocked these links:

- http://www.gabrielleray .150m.com/ArchivePressText2003/20031220.html 1902 note by Tempest entitled "My Daily Mail"
I added a space after "gabrielleray" so that they would not be blocked on this page. Does anyone know how to reinstate them? -- Ssilvers 07:34, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Hay Fever
[edit]Coward didn't write Hay Fever for Tempest. He did, though, debut it with her -- it had been written some years earlier. From his autobiography: "Hay Fever... having mouldered sadly in a drawer for months, was suddenly taken out, dusted off and put into rehearsal... This all came about because Alban Limpus and Charles Kenyon wanted a play for Marie Tempest..."
Films
[edit]Is it de rigueur to list films in anti-chronolgical order, as here? It seems odd, don't it? Tim riley (talk) 20:28, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Quite right. I turned it to chrono order. -- Ssilvers (talk) 20:31, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
