Peerage

I can find one reference to Manteo having being made a 'feudal baron', which is an 1842 work (History of the United States of America, George Bancroft), any later references seem to be verbatim copies of this. Bancroft does not give a name of Manteo's peerage. A search for 'baron roanoke' brings up no supporting results. Given the lack of substantiality, I've moved the page to Manteo (Native American leader) as per Wanchese (Native American leader). Sotakeit (talk) 16:03, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
