Removal
[edit]Alain08 has asked me to comment on my removal of some spurious material from this article. The parts I removed had been sourced to such writers as new-age figure Chevalier Emerys and the Nazi esoterist Otto Rahn. These sources are unreliable and unacceptable for use in an encyclopedia article, and Alain08 does not appear to dispute this. I might have left some material if it appeared it was legitimate information that could simply be sourced to more reliable publications; however, the material was clearly all just the opinions of these writers. As such, it should not be included in an encyclopedia article.--Cúchullain t/c 12:58, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Remove more?
[edit]Why not remove the whole article? The reference to de Rougemont is legit, but as far as I can tell de Rougemont just made it up. There's no citation in his book, and no one else ever seems to use the word (which in any case is undefined). The entry looks to me like a complete waste of space.
