Title change
[edit]I believe the title should be changed to Andazi, in keeping with other foods' entries being listed in the singular (see Doughnut or Hushpuppy). Also, the correct spelling is maandazi, as andazi is the singular and the plural is formed by adding an ma- prefix (andazi is a ji-ma class noun). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.21.176.161 (talk) 21:04, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Merge proposal
[edit]I propose merging Puff-puff into Mandazi as it appears to be a regional variant of the latter. I think the content in Puff-puff can be easily captured in a future Varieties section and a merge would not cause any article-size or weighting problems in Mandazi.BaduFerreira (talk) 17:01, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- Generally support -- there's some good content that doesn't need to go in a Varieties section, though like the list of alternative names. Mrfoogles (talk) 00:20, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- Puff puff is not a variety of Mandazi, as they have different tastes and looks. Mandazi is more coconut flavored and contains milk, while Puff Puff is sweet or savory with nutmeg and very rarely includes dairy. They are closely related, but Puff Puff does not belong underneath Mandazi. 2600:1700:1E90:F5D0:658F:4ADE:1848:D1E2 (talk) 01:42, 20 December 2024 (UTC)
