[edit]I read somewhere that the canopy from Turnberry Station was taken down and moved to a Scottish League football ground as a terrace cover but can't recall where. Maybe it was in the British Railway Journal mentioned: alas, I no longer have a full copy of the issue. I think it was Dumbarton F. C.'s old ground.Britmax (talk) 10:47, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- You are correct, its also mentioned in Wham's "The Lost Railway Lines of Ayrshire". I'll add a mention to Turnberry railway station. --Dreamer84 (talk) 21:47, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
