Was she queen?
[edit]Did she have the title queen, or an eqvivlanent title? A queen consort is not necessarily the same thing as the wife of a monarch. This may have been the case in Europe, but we should respect culture differences and not assume that the wives of a king was always the same as a queen, especially in non-Western cultures. Muslim rulers, for example, could have several wives, so there were not necessarily an eqvivalent of a western queen consort. Queen Soraya, of course, was indeed a queen, but we should not assume that Mah Parwar Begum was one, simply because she was the wife of the king. Unless there are references for it, she should not be called queen; it would not be wise to use the title queen consort as a synonym to a wife of a king.--Aciram (talk) 15:15, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
