What does MCP stand for?

Probably many things really, but in this case it would stand for "Multi Chip Processor" ... at least that's what we designed, was a multiple chip set microprocessor. The LSI-11 design team was a group of about 15-20 individuals consisting of Managers, Circuit and Logic Engineers, Layout Designers and CAD support staff. Several people on the team provided multiple functions, .e.g performing both Logic and Circuit design, or Layout, CAD (Digitizing) and Verfication tasks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mark torrey (talkcontribs) 16:51, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
