General Article Editing Update
[edit]Regarding posted notifications and previous helpful comments and direction provided by Michael J. Lowrey <orangemike@gmail.com >, as author of this page, I have tried to objectify all of the content to comply with Wikipedia's content policies and particularly, in assuming a neutral point of view. In addition, with the assistance of Luke Mcmaster and others, I have added a number of references and citations as verification.
In terms of establishing notability, Luke Mcmaster was previously part of [1] Mcmaster and James. However, he has subsequently achieved notable success as a song-writer and producer as described on his Luke Mcmaster Wikipedia page and is currently working on the release of a new covers album, including 3 original songs, to relaunch his performing career.
All further assistance and direction would be appreciated. Thank you. (Petermeg (talk) 17:27, 18 May 2011 (UTC))
Fix citations
[edit]I had to place the {{Format footnotes}} on the article. There's more than one or two for me to fix. I'll leave it to those who did it. If anyone needs help, post to my talk page. Such a shame, as I was going to rate the article class=C. Argolin (talk) 23:01, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Age & School Years Inaccuracies
[edit]Having gone to school with Luke from 7th to 12th grade I am quite positive he was not born in 1976. This would have made him 9 years old entering 7th grade which he most certainly wasn't. He was most likely born in 1973, perhaps even late 72, though I haven't a clue what day. I'm not sure what the protocol is for adjusting something as critical as a birthdate when it can't be wholly verified.
More distressing is the midleading facts of his school years. Not mentioned at all, and quite important to understanding his musical ambitions, was the fact he played trumpet in the school band for 6 years and it was no surprise at all when he entered the music industry.
Also, considering he graduated from high school in 1991 it was more likely he was enrolled in Brandon University for 2-3 years before heading to Winnipeg. Considering the popularity of Brandon University Music program its not unlikely this is where he spent those missing years in the timeline.
Anyways, as you can tell I don't have all the information either but thought I would at least start the dialog and let someone more intimate with Luke's background correct the errors.
