Psychotic or Politically Motivated?
[edit]The article states that the murderer had mental problems and the police don't think it is politically motivated. http://www.ewtnnews.com/new.php?id=885 This says that the Turkish government warned Padovese that his driver the murderer had embraced the fundamentalist cause. http://www.asianews.it/news-en/Funeral-of-Mgr.-Padovese.-Murderer,-I-killed-the-great-Satan!-18612.html This article states that the driver is a member of an organization known as "Deep State" that was also responsible for Father Santoro's death and that there is no evidence of the driver having been depressed. Thoughts on all this before editing the article? --Sephiroth9611 (talk) 02:51, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
Mgr.
[edit]Given that monsignor is the common form of address for higher prelates in Italy and without evidence to the contrary, I have removed the link to monsignor as it is unknown if Bishop Padovese actually held that honor or if it has just been used in his case due to his nationality. Thoughts? --Sephiroth9611 (talk) 03:02, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
