This is a very good start, but there is definitely still work to be done on this entry. You will first need to find out her birth year and birthplace. I copyedited your sentence about Familia to read “She is best known for…” as this is something a lot of people want to know when reading about a director. Find out a little about her personal life. Even a sentence or two would suffice. As for her career, you have written that she has directed numerous short films. How many, exactly? Try and find a set number and list them in her filmography. It is easier for readers to find out what films she has been involved in if they are in a list or table format, rather than written out in sentences. You wrote that she has received awards for some of her films. Make another list (or table) for them! Try and flesh out this woman as much as possible. Otherwise, you have great grammar and sentence structures. Again, this is a very good start! - Vorkapich

Her birth year and birth place are not, for the record, details we have any way of finding out about a person beyond waiting for them to show up in reliable source coverage of her — until that happens, our hands are tied. Our policy, in fact, specifically forbids us from trying to dig into records to find those things out ourselves independently of any media coverage. So there's simply nothing we can do about that — her article on fr:, where people are much likelier to have access to a much stronger array of sources for a francophone from Quebec than we are on here, also fails to contain those details, which means that like it or not they just don't exist in any source we could cite for them.
