YouGov poll

[edit]

I put the YouGov poll back in. There has been no explanation for Wikidea's claim that they are misleading. The article explicitly mentions that they are internet-based polls and that their validity is debatable, so that nobody is misled. Furthermore, the same opinion polls are also used on European_Parliament_election,_2009_(United_Kingdom). And lastly, it's the best data currently available. If anybody finds better data, you're welcome to add them. --filip (talk) 13:03, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sarah Ludford

[edit]

I've changed Sarah Ludford's name from her formal title of Baroness Ludford to the name that she is actually known by. I have two reasons for this: 1) Baroness Ludford isn't the name she used in the election, did not appear on the ballot paper as such, or the statement of results. (http://www.richmond.gov.uk/statementofpersonsnominated_pdf.pdf and http://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/find-information-by-subject/elections-and-referendums/past-elections-and-referendums/european-parliamentary-elections/2009-European-Parliamentary-election-results/london?undefined=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.electoralcommission.org.uk%2Ffind-information-by-subject%2Felections-and-referendums%2Fpast-elections-and-referendums%2Feuropean-parliamentary-elections%2F2009-European-Parliamentary-election-results%2Flondon) 2) She isn't currently a sitting or eligible member of the House of Lord's, making the title redundant. Ian Twinn

[edit]

Ian Twinn should appear in the 'since 1999' table as he was a member from Lord Bethell's resignation in October 2003 until the election the following year. Howevever, each time I've tried to incorporate him it messes up the table. Could someone more skilled in these things add him? Many thanks 2A02:8010:6087:0:381A:988F:6000:3FB7 (talk) 14:01, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
