Called by Hinckley.
[edit]This article makes reference to the fact that Newell was called to be the announcer for Music and the Spoken Word by the prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. However, at the time of Newell's call, Hinckley was not the prophet. Ezra Taft Benson was. Hinckley received the assignment to oversee the Choir and the weekly program from Benson. So I think that it's important that we note this in the article. I'm just not sure how to do it. Thoughts? --Jgstokes-We can disagree without being disagreeable (talk) 07:56, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
- Since there have been several days with no response, I went ahead and added a few words of clarification to the relevant paragraph. How does it look? --Jgstokes-We can disagree without being disagreeable (talk) 05:27, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for the effort to obtain feedback. This article was off my watchlist, so I had not seen your initial question. Thanks for updating it. I made some other minor adjustments to the overall article. ChristensenMJ (talk) 22:12, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
