Started reformatting this list because the last one was terrible. I'm using the table format seen in the lists for ACT and NSW.
I'm using this document for my list of schools. So far I'm seperating into categories as follows based on their Classification in the document:
- Government
- Primary schools (Primary Schools)
- High schools (Senior High School / District High School / High School / Senior College)
I'll consider what to do for non-government schools / remote community schools / ed support centres later.
I've been adding links to each of the schools. As with the ACT list, I've created pages for schools that don't exist redirecting to the suburb the school is in. I've bolded the names of schools with existing articles.
Feel free to help out! DynaBlast 11:27, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
I was going to add my old schools, but really what's the point? I mean you already have the link to a comprehensive list. Jargon 06:27, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Merger
[edit]I have proposed that we merge the List of schools in Perth, Western Australia with this list. The debate is located here for all concerned. Do not leave comments below please. Twenty Years 14:05, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- I trust the merge was a good idea, but there is not a single public school from Perth listed in this article. Though I know little about Australian education and politics, how could a city so central as Perth not have a single public school?49giantsharks (talk) 05:57, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- What definition of public school are you using? Also note that Perth the suburb (again, suburb means something different in Australian usage) doesn't have any government schools, but the List of schools in Perth, Western Australia referred to the Perth, Western Australia metropolitan area, and the schools that were in it are listed here under their suburb. ––––––––––––– What about schools that have closed down. I mean there are some really old historical schools etc. For example Glenorchy School located in Moodiarrup Western Australia. It closed down in 1996, the library remains as it is heritage listed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.67.114.162 (talk) 05:24, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
