Architecture vs. Brand
[edit]Qualcomm uses the Snapdragon brand to cover their Scorpion (Coretex-A8) and Krait (Cortex-A15) based processors. So when listing the Applications of ARM Cores, please name the architecture of the Snapdragon core. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.183.231.12 (talk) 19:47, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
Application in ARM means no embedded
[edit]So the best is use another terminology.--Lagoset (talk) 12:19, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
- @Lagoset: Your word isn't good enough; we need reliable, and ideally, third-party sources for this. What/where are they? -- dsprc [talk] 16:29, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
Copyright violation

Delete This
[edit]This is marketing fluff, and has no place in Wikipedia. I think it should be deleted. Brycen (talk) 23:36, 15 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Brycen: Your PROD has been rejected; are free to AfD it, however. I removed the copyright violations which were mostly marketing bullshit from ARM's PR Dept. You articulate no rationale for your position or desire for deletion. What are your specific objections? -- dsprc [talk]
Rename this Page
[edit]the word "core" needs to be changed to "microarchitecture", to maintain consistency with the other pages on this topic, and to align with the correct meaning of english words. A "core" is a single instance of a compute unit (some of these chips have more than one), the correct term to describe these products is "microarchitecture". 110.143.72.26 (talk) 8 June 2021 (UTC)
- The term "ARM core" has been used for decades in the ARM world. Changing to "ARM microarchitecture" would be confusing against the other term "ARM architecture". • Sbmeirow • Talk • 14:11, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
