Lead corrected and possible redirect?

[edit]

I have corrected the lead to reflect the content being apes in literature rather can comics and manga as previously stated. However, since there doesn't appear to have been a consensus to create this content fork from the main article, List of fictional apes, and this page consist solely of 4 characters, I suggest that it is redirected back to the main article.--CharlieDelta (talk) 20:32, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It consists of 6 characters, and no there was no discussion. There is no discussion pertaining to 90% of the stuff in these types of articles, It's only when someone starts trying to clean them up that people get all upset. You know, I've AfD'd the List of fictional people from Boston and It's only got 3 votes (including mine) after being listed for over 10 days? That is just one of the many reasons that I'm finished with wikipedia... so really, do whatever you like. And please note: I'm not directing anger at you... really. =/ It's a lot of stuff, over the course of months. I went ahead and redirected it... along with List of fictional dogs in literature, television and the others... You can do what you like because I've given up... I've actually pretty much given up a while ago. Sorry to rant, have a nice life! Ncboy2010 (talk) 21:46, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
