So Sweden has no Navy and no Air Force?

[edit]

This article is a redirect from Military equipment of Sweden, but covers only the Army.--Oneiros (talk) 18:38, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Section "Small arms"

[edit]

Ak 5C Updated version [...]

Ak 5D Shortened Ak 5C intended for Vehicle Crews and CQB operations

Ak 5D Mk II Shortened Ak 5 with the Ak 5C upgrade.

So the 5D is a shortened 5C, while the 5D Mk II is a 5C, but shortened?

Makes no sense. ---- 79.223.7.52 (talk) 18:11, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Beretta Silver Pigeon I

[edit]

This article identifies the Beretta Silver Pigeon I, a luxury, double barreled, sporting shotgun, which is out of production, as a military small-arm of Sweden. Someone either needs to add a citation for that highly unusual claim, or delete it. 2601:18D:8D7F:CB90:607D:8A32:4BBB:6420 (talk) 23:44, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tanks

[edit]

The listing is factually absolutely correct, but the comprehensibility is atrocious, because of the double and triple mentioning of the same tanks. It reads as if Sweden had ordered like 300 tanks or something. It would be much easier to understand if we could just put a sentence somewhere like, "the 110 existing Leopard 2 will be upgraded to StrV 123A, and additionally, 44 new Leopard 2A8 will be delivered, called StrV 123B" or something like that. I'm not going to fiddle with the list, just some food for thought.--2003:E2:C704:CE00:492C:D058:2892:4AD3 (talk) 20:59, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
