Location 52.112849, -2.005226 to 52.113463, -2.004810
A ferry that ran along a wire. I believe it has been allowed to fall into disuse.
I believe this was supposed to be maintained and operated by the owners of Ferry Cottage (52.112791, -2.005575).
Potential for confusion
There is a private ferry that runs along a wire from an adjacent site [52.112797, -2.005215] that is owned by the owners of Cropthorne Mill (next to the weir). Cropthorne Mill ferry is well used and maintained. Cropthorne Mill ferry runs to the mill (52.113264, -2.004774). Totally screwed (talk) 12:42, 29 November 2023 (UTC).
My sister is married to one of the owners of Cropthorne Mill.[reply]
