I have corrected the data provided from my publication. The previous source used was Table 7, covering only employment of nationals: the new data are from Table 9, which is for total employment. Martin Baldwin-Edwards.

china's public sector size

[edit]

according to this source http://www.businessinsider.com/chart-of-the-day-government-sector-employment-2011-11 almost 50% of employment is in the public sector.

including it's many super size public corporations.

and it does seem more logical than the 30% or so that the other source in the article presents. i mean, after all the chinse government controls most of heavy industry right?Adrian234567 (talk) 14:31, 16 September 2016 (UTC) I'll include itHolden3172 (talk) 18:16, 9 February 2017 (UTC)Holden3172[reply]

Problem with ILO citation

[edit]

The citation from the ILO worked fine a few months ago, but now, it takes me to a website in which I am prompted to enter a username and password. Clearly something is not right,Holden3172 (talk) 07:13, 12 January 2017 (UTC)Holden3172[reply]

Number doesn't match

[edit]

The number for Brazil doesn't match the reference. On the OCED publication, it seems to be around 13%. Hrimhariw (talk) 04:41, 21 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also, what is the reference for Brazil's ILO figure? Links 7 and 8 are broken. ILO data (see here https://www.ilo.org/shinyapps/bulkexplorer8/?lang=en&segment=indicator&id=PSE_TPSE_GOV_NB_A) is from 2009 and does not adds up to 20%. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:646:4003:3710:7D43:64D0:72E2:40A (talk) 01:23, 16 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect OECD figures

[edit]

Numbers are wrong. Consult https://stats.oecd.org/Index.aspx?QueryId=78408# and look at indicator: Employment in general government as a percentage — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.54.53.75 (talk) 17:17, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

North Korea

[edit]

What about North Korea? Should be near 90% Chelentano (talk) 04:22, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
