- Reliable sources. You don't have problem to finding good references for countries like Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and US. But other countries need good references. CIA World Factbook and Library of Congress are good sources. Gazaneh (talk) 13:59, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Another reliable source
[edit]Hi. Check Library of Congress – Federal Research Division. "Ethnic Groups and Languages of Iran". It will be very helpful for Iran data. Gazaneh (talk) 17:32, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
I have a proposal...
[edit]Hi there! I have a suggestion for improving this article. I propose we change the title of this article to "List of countries where Persian is an official language". We could still keep the figures, of the various Persian-speaking populations around the World, as additional information, but the article would focus primarily on the traditional Persian-speaking countries (i.e. Afghanistan, Iran and Tajikistan).
How does that sound? :-) --Nadia (Kutsuit) (talk) 09:55, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
